Three things that get me out of a funk:

  • Music
  • Meditation
  • Movement

When I start to feel negative energy setting in:

I repeat “Let it go” and take a couple of deep breaths until it fades.  This task  is extremely difficult for me and has been a huge struggle throughout my life.  However, this works if you really want it to.  That is the key.  Wanting it to work.  I always found it so much easier to keep the negative energy…which I always ended up regretting that I did.

Negatives/Works in Progress:

  • Tend to lean towards pessimism
  • Defensive
  • I suffer from the “What Ifs”  (What if I blow it? What it fails? What if I sound stupid?)

How I start my day:  Banana, huge glass of water, protein shake, meditation, music

Why I started MindRighting.com:

I have been on a mission to find out what others do to stay positive.  Positivity does not come easy for me, so learning about how others handle tough situations, really helps me keep my mind right. Sharing what helps YOU, can in turn help OTHERS.  That is my vision for the site.  People helping people stay positive.
