I cannot live without these three books:
- The Book of Understanding – Osho
- Tao Te Ching – Lao Tzu
- The Warrior of the Light – Paulo Coelho
Three things that get me out of a funk:
When I start to feel negative energy setting in:
I tilt my chin up. Typically I’m looking down when thinking negative. There’s something to be said about holding your head high. I try to distance myself from my emotions…adapting a stoic mindset. “I am at peace” or “everything is okay” are incantations that work well for me. Just simply smiling about something changes the negative energy as well.
Negatives/Works in Progress:
- Let the past worries interfere with my current happiness.
- Hyper Vigilant
- Worried about not ‘making it’…not providing enough for my family
How I start my day:
Black coffee, 1 egg, 2 egg whites, bread & fruit juice. I meditate and read an excerpt from my current or favorite books.

We suffer. I have been subject to and caused plenty, as we all have. This stuff helps. I’ve had so many people in my life benefit from conversations about these outlets. Sharing all this is important. Being able to change any and all unwanted emotions with consistent practices is priceless. The goal is to help, that simple.
