This song is so freaking uplifting for me. When the chorus hits, I get so amped that I feel like I am going to explode. I am always driving when this song comes on, and I immediately start singing as loud as I can. These lines hit me the hardest:

So many times, negative thoughts creep in and take over your mind. They immediately change your attitude, demeanor, and outlook. When this happens, I take a step back and try to refocus. I am trying to “bring myself back to life.”

But don’t get me wrong, this is not easy. It took me a while to become aware of this shift in feelings and energy. Then to turn them from negatives into positives? This takes practice. Once you figure it out though. It’s like an instant reward.
