Sometimes I get down on myself, on society.
You know…
I drive by plaza after plaza on this road I live by.
I see the flashing neon open signs, the fluorescent billboards…and I wonder.
“What is it all?”
What if that store wasn’t there? Do we need that one really?
Not trying to be a skeptic, but I’m just curious about how many things are pushed in front of our faces that we don’t truly need.
I have kids, I understand that I need to be there for them and to provide a home, and help with their college funds and all that.
I just like to wonder about it all.
I’d like to just step outside and take a walk after sunset and hear nature. Just to be under that amazing, ominous sky…just appreciating.
Without the noise, lights, chimes, and man made things.
Growing up in the country I couldn’t stand being out in the middle of nowhere. Now it’s different, it’s like my soul calls for it.
I love just to sit all around nature, close my eyes and just appreciate.
